After finishing highschool, i know i wanted to work in computer science and systems, but was not really sure of what specific part i wanted to play in them. To this end, i started in 2019 a DUT program (Diplome Universitaire Technologique) at the IUT (Institut Universitaire Technologique) Velizy Villacoublay, a two year formation with a major in Networks and Telecommunications. This program was a mix between scientific and technical courses, aimed at understanding the basis for computer science, the internet and mobile telecommunications, while providing the mathematical and physical tools needed. I had a great experience in this formation, the teachers passion about their topics enabled my curiosity, specifically in math and low level computer science. During my degree, i was fascinated about network protocols and how the internet was designed and scaled.

For my last year project, i specialized in cybersecurity, specifically in reverse engineering. After my C and C++ courses, i wanted to see how programs could be unpacked and how really programs were running on machines. I discovered assembly and used reverse engineering tools like Ghidra, and learned basics cybersecurity tools like nmap while solving CTF(Capture the Flag) on TryHackMe. The Goal of the project was to create a CTF suite with my group, so it could be used in cybersecurity courses as extra credit projects. My contribution for the project was a reverse engineering CTF, with 6 programs, each teaching about one basic vulnerability for reverse engineering. The interesting part was that after solving a program, the student could see the source code that produced the binary, and how this security breach could be mitigated.

During my time in the IUT, i did two interships, one in Axibio and one in Brainsonic.

After two years in the IUT, i graduated and with the help of IUT teachers, i prepared exams and interviews for engineering schools, and was accepted to Telecom Paris, the highest ranked school in my domain.
